Love the style and have an idea of your own? A commissioned piece is a wonderful way to capture a place or memory personal to you or to get a painting of a specific size and colour palette. Please feel free to reach out and ask any questions you have!
Price
Commissioned work is valued by size. Some common sizes and prices are below, but virtually any size and dimension is possible.
Concept Process
The process begins with a conversation about your ideas. Typically a client begins with either a general size or specific dimension they are looking for. Then you provide a description, photos and/or examples of other pieces and colours you are looking for; whatever your ideas for your painting are. With this initial information I will put together a sketch of the painting concept for discussion and acceptance by you.
Painting Process
To proceed with the commissioned painting a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required. Commissioned paintings generally take between 6 weeks and 6 months depending on the current workload and complexity. Once the painting is near completion I will send you a photo. At that point there is an opportunity for you to make some minor adjustments if you would like. Once the painting is finished the balance of payment is due plus any insured shipping fees. All that’s left is to hang your new piece and ENJOY!
